Herb of the day is Oatstraw. A delicate grass that’s packed with nutrients! It’s therapeutic actions as a nerving, stimulant, antispasmodic, demulcent and nutritive. It’s sweet, oily, warm and moist. It’s medicinal uses: strengthens tissues and nerves. Oatstraw is an excellent herb for strengthening the connective tissue, skin, mucous membranes and nerve fibers. It helps relax and tone the central nervous system and is a good choice for children to promote a sense of calmness.
Oatstraw also reduces skin irritation and inflammation which makes it great for relieving itching and symptoms of atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and fungal and viral rashes. Oatstraw baths are a great choice for moisturizing the skin.

Finally some positive news to wake up to! Brittney Griner, the WNBA star who was held for months in Russian prisons on drug charges, was released Thursday in a one-for-one prisoner swap for international arms dealer Viktor Bout, according to a U.S. official. The one-for-one exchange agreement negotiated with Moscow in recent weeks was given final approval by President Biden within just the last week, according to sources familiar with the deal. The swap, first reported by CBS News, took place on Thursday in the United Arab Emirates.
To secure Griner's release, the president ordered Bout to be freed and returned to Russia. Mr. Biden signed the commutation order cutting short Bout's 25-year federal prison sentence. Griner was detained at a Russian airport in February and later pleaded guilty to charges stemming from the discovery of cannabis-derived oil cartridges in her luggage.
After five months of stalled diplomacy and various permutations of potential swap arrangements, including a previously unreported offer by the U.S. this past summer to send two prisoners back to Russia for the two Americans sources say the one-for-one exchange came together over the last two weeks.

Chicken and zucchini warm salad!!
This was super easy and so good!
Sautéed zucchini, peppers, onion and chicken in my herbal olive oil and veggie seasoning (you can get it at the shop!),
Second I laid it on a bed of romain lettuce and then cut it up and put cranberries and walnuts on top!
