Alright y’all… I need some real input AND I want to let y’all in on what I’ve been working on 👀🍭
About a year and a half ago I bought an old RV with the idea of turning it into a mobile business. Life happened, it sat… but now with Sugatime growing, I’m bringing that vision back to life 💪🏾
This weekend I finally got in there and started tearing it down and THIS is where I’m at now (pics attached). Floors are up, walls opened, and yeah… it’s a little rough 😅 but it’s a blank slate.
The plan:
👉 Turn this into a Sugatime mobile candy + shaved ice spot
👉 Clean, colorful, walk-up experience
👉 Something the kids (and adults lol) get excited to see pull up
Right now I’m in the rebuild phase:
- sealing the roof (had a leak)
- insulating
- repaneling walls + ceiling
- building out a simple counter setup
Now I need some insight from my people:
1. Has anyone here remodeled an RV or camper before?
2. Any tips on paneling walls or dealing with old water damage?
3. Anyone local that does light carpentry / flooring / panel work? (paid work)
4. What would YOU want to see from a mobile candy/snack truck like this?
I’m building this smart and on a budget, so any advice, connections, or ideas help fr.
This is the beginning of something bigger for Sugatime 🍭🚐
