Thank you SO much to everyone who supported my little plant sale this year! I grew just over 500 plants and that was definitely the max my kitchen, grow lights and back deck can handle 😅 It was a lot of work shuffling all those plants in and out with the crazy spring weather 🤪 But you all being excited to get your plants for the year make it all worth it ❤️ Hope all your gardens are amazing this year!

🌱My 2026 plant sale is here! 🌱

Please read everything below for important details:

🌱All plants are heirloom varieties and organically grown.

🌱Plants will be available for pickup beginning Sunday, April 26th and must be picked up by Wednesday, May 13th. Pickup is from my home in Raytown unless I see you during my weekly routine 🙂

🌱This year I don’t know what I was thinking, but I started 500 plants. That all live in my kitchen. That must be shuttled outside every day 🤪 so to help keep track of everything, I created a signup for you all to order from. I hope that this will help me to keep tabs on everything easily and for you to see easily what’s available.

🌱Another note on plants this year: this year I started my plants about 3 weeks later than I started them last year. Last year, many of them were practically trees and beginning to flower. Not only are they difficult to manage at that size, it’s better for them to be established in your garden, focusing on roots, before they flower. So the plants are a little smaller and more manageable this year, but I think they will do even better in your garden!

I just finished a gorgeous batch of elderberry syrup from my own homegrown, organic elderberries! I have a limited supply available. $12 for 8oz jar. Message to purchase! Local pickup only.

Elderberry syrup is a staple for us, especially during cold and flu season (and this season has been so bad! 🤧)
Made with homegrown, fresh, organic elderberries, turmeric, ginger, homegrown echinacea, fresh squeezed orange juice and local raw honey. We do doses as follows: 1-2 tablespoons for adults 2-3 times a day, and for children 1-2 teaspoons 2-3 times a day.

The girls and I have a booth tomorrow, Saturday, November 15 at Advent Lutheran Church in Olathe 10-2 for their Holiday Bazaar. Admission is free! We’d love to see friends 😄

FALL so far …
It has hardly felt like fall around here! But a change in weather is coming this weekend. Looking forward to leggings and sweaters and fires 🤩
But meanwhile, I have really enjoyed the garden still producing abundantly in mid-October!

1 & 2. The girls planted their whole garden plots full of flowers, and it’s brought so much joy!
3. All things sourdough! This pumpkin spice boule was delightful (even if it was 90° outside)
4. All the tomatoes!
5. So many monarchs this year!
6 & 7. We enjoyed a very refreshing camping trip to Arkansas. The weather was ideal and the views breathtaking. And having little to no phone service for 3 days was a breath of fresh air.
8. Another day, another 20lb + basket of peppers and tomatoes 🤯
9. We added new friends to our homestead- Picket and Smalls (IYKYK) 🥹

🌽I went to the produce auction yesterday and have more sweet corn than we need! Selling extra to whoever wants- $6 for a bag of 8 ears freshly shucked. They were picked yesterday in Missouri. Sweet and delicious! Must pickup today!

I’ve been doing a lot of baking this summer and perfecting freshly milled flour recipes. FMF can be finicky to learn because it doesn’t act the same as all purpose white flour. But the learning curve was so worth it! The taste is just unmatched. Even my semi-picky kid prefers the FMF to store bought now 😄 FMF sourdough cinnamon rolls and hand pies are definitely the highlights of this month’s baking 😆 I’m looking forward to fall baking when the house is cool! Have you tried baking with freshly milled flour?
