Watching our oldest son grow up and start learning the ropes is something I’ll never take for granted. ❤️ From watching his dad and I work to now jumping in and working right alongside me… I couldn’t be prouder! 🥹💪🏼

He may be learning the food trailer business, but he’s also learning hard work, responsibility, and what it means to help your family. ❤️🔥 Sure he is still young and has to have a little convincing to go with e sometimes, 😂😂 but one day he will understand.

My firstborn, my helper, and one day… maybe my boss! 😂❤️

We want to be honest about something that comes with owning a food trailer that people don’t always see or understand. ❤️

When business is slow, it doesn’t mean our expenses slow down. We still have gas to buy, propane to keep things running, food and supplies to purchase, maintenance, and so many other costs that come with keeping the trailer open that people do not realize.

There are days when we sit here for hours and barely sell enough to cover what it costs us just to be open. 😔 And honestly, those slow days can cost us money out of our own pockets.

We know there are good days and bad days in this business, and we also know within a few hours if it’s going to be a good day or bad day.

With that being said, we are closing the trailer down early today here at the Grub Lot. Maybe next time will be better! Hope everyone has a terrific day!
