The breba crop of figs is pretty much at its end... but the second crop is coming!

Figs!

We are about a week into the breba crop of these black mission figs, and we're picking & selling for another week or so.

The larger first-crop figs are $5/dozen; later this summer, the smaller second-crop figs will be $4/dozen.

We have a new chicken house and occupants on the farm. Thank you Ryan Raglin for building it and Stroing family for the chickens.

The pigs are eight weeks old, and going up for sale (well, most of them, at least). There are eleven in all — seven barrows & three gilts. If buying at least two, the price is $200/barrow & $250/gilt.

[Oh, and in other news... a litter of pigs was born last night. :) ]

🌸 🌸 🌸 The thirteenth annual Almond Blossom Ball is just ten days from today, on Saturday, February 8th, from 6:00 to 9:30 pm, at the recreation hall at Ridgeway Park, near Red Bluff. 🌸 🌸 🌸

This all-ages, semi-formal event is an annual fundraiser for the arts program at Whittenberg Country School. Besides music & dancing, there will be various goodies to eat and a silent auction for the arts.

Youth tickets, for those 4-14 years old, are $7.50 in advance & $10 at the door. Adult tickets are $15 in advance & $20 at the door.

Y'all are invited. Contact Mr. Whitten (or other ticket sellers) to get tickets.
