California Beef Expo Great opportunity for juniors with purebred cattle! Exciting competitions, activities, and more!

The California Beef Expo is a great initiative to provide opportunities for juniors with purebred cattle. The inclusion of shows for Charolais, Hereford, Red Angus, Black Angus, AOB, and replacement female shows, along with a Steer show, offers a diverse range of opportunities for participants. Hosted by the California Beef Expo Non-Profit Board do not miss out on the competitions, activities, and junior meetings!

What a weekend at the California Beef Expo! šŸ†

From the show ring to the events outside of it, we had an absolute blast rewarding the future of Californiaā€™s beef industry. Champions were crowned, cattle were shown, friendships were made, and there was plenty of fun along the way!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this yearā€™s Expo such a great one. Weā€™re already looking forward to doing it all again!

Thatā€™s a wrap on Day 3 and the final day of California Beef Expo!

ā­ļøMEET THE INTERNSā­ļø

Karlee and Cailee have spent the weekend in and out of the ring, keeping our social media updated, taking photos and videos, and helping show staff!

Karlee is a Junior at Chico State University majoring in Agriculture Communications, minoring in Journalism and Marketing. She got into the cattle industry in high school when she began judging and showing dairy cattle. She hopes to continue doing social media for stock shows and hopes to get more into cattle industry communications to expand the agricultural industry and advocate for agriculturalists far and wide.

Cailee is a Sophomore at Kansas State University majoring in Agriculture Economics, with a minor in Agriculture Communications, on the Pre-Law track. She is a fifth generation cattle rancher who is heavily involved in the California Junior Angus Association & the National Junior Angus Association. She has goals of becoming an Agriculture Lawyer to advocate for farmers and ranchers.
