🚨 NEW SOURDOUGH SERIES INCOMING 🚨

Okay, first things first… I owe you all an apology.

I absolutely slacked on the candy bar series. I probably owe you all several more candy-bar-inspired loaves, but then life got busy, my brain got distracted, and somewhere along the way the candy bars got abandoned. 😭😂

So… I’m sorry. Please accept my apology.

BUT …
There’s a new series that has been living rent free in my head for MONTHS, and I have been dying to start it.
And since it’s September 1st, I figured there’s no better time.

✨ THE BASIC BITCH SERIES ✨

Pumpkin spice? Obviously.
Maple? Duh.
Brown sugar? You already know.
Chai? Absolutely.
Cinnamon? Probably an irresponsible amount.

Basically, I’m taking everything that screams “I’m basic and I’m not sorry” and shoving it into sourdough. 😂

And before you assume this is just a series of sourdough loaves…
It may not just be loaves.
This is going to be ALL THINGS SOURDOUGH.

Loaves. Treats. Maybe some things you weren’t expecting. Who knows what kind of basic nonsense I’m about to put sourdough into.

I’m SO excited for this one. Like… way too excited.

Here’s the beginning of my next flavor experiment, and I want to see who can guess what I’m making!

A few clues:
⭐️It’s savory
⭐️There’s cheese involved
⭐️It has some seasoning/kick
⭐️It’s inspired by something that you probably wouldn’t normally put in bread

And NOPE… this one has nothing to do with my candy bar series!

Meet the Twix loaf. 🍫

A classic sourdough loaf filled with buttery shortbread cookie pieces, chocolate, and caramel. Crispy crust, soft crumb, and all the Twix-inspired flavors wrapped up in a loaf of bread.

I have a feeling this candy bar inspired sourdough series is going to get out of hand... and I'm completely okay with that.
