A couple of landscaping projects we've tackled lately,
First was a knotweed "removal" we are trying a different approach, we are using a heavy duty silage tarp to solarize the area, the sunlight and heat should kill off the plants under the tarp.
Second was a removal of an old patio and installation of a new flower bed with rock pathway.
Third was removal of some 30 year old shrubs and turning the front of the house into a blank slate for new plantings.

We were tasked with setting 257 telephone poles for a privacy fence for a new solar farm in Acushnet RockHound Excavation assisted with the Cat 311. Onto the next one!

Happy flower Friday!

And the Friday before Mother’s Day!

We are in the final stages of bed prep and planning before we go all in planting our warm season annuals.

While cleaning up some beds, we found a surprise! One of the four varieties of our field-grown eucalyptus somehow survived this harsh winter and is coming back! That’s a win and total surprise for us, since we always plan on starting fresh with eucalyptus every year. Score!

This weekend we will be opening the roadside farm stand for Mother’s Day tulips grown right here on our farm.

Mixed bunches in different color palettes will be available starting at 9 AM Saturday morning. We will periodically check and restock the stand and plan to be open Saturday and Sunday, until sold out. Shop with us early for best availability!
