Charlotte eating a little snack before mom cleans out her birthing stall. In case you haven't been around pigs raised in wooded pastures, they're always dirty. They dig and roll in mud (as you can see in this video, she's made her a mini-mud pit). We hose them down all the time and they just get covered in mud again. So when they are preparing to give birth and confined to a stall, we have to clean the stall every day and put down fresh bedding.
