Holly (Easter Egger) is now 1 month post raccoon attack and her wound is looking so great🤍
She has always had a very large comb that hung to the side.
It’s just a liiiitle more forward now than before 😅
It’s like a fashion statement!

She wants to be with rest of the flock so badly, but we are keeping her separate for another week or so to ensure she fully heals.

We finally caught the raccoon!

No more chicken dinners for him.

⭐️ Rooster of the month: Albert

🤍 Breed: Silkie (Satin Splash)

🌈 Attitude: Protective

✨ Fun Fact: When we give out snacks, Albert never takes any for himself. He only ever calls the girls to come and have their treat while he watches over them.

These two roosters are UFD. Frizzle/EE/Silkie mixes.

⭐️ Hen of the month: Britney

🌈 Attitude: Pain in the ass

🤍 Breed: Easter Egger

✨ Fun Fact: She is the last one to go to bed every night. Most nights result in us having to wrangle her into the pen or we find her roosting by the back door and have to tote her down.

🥚 Egg color: Unknown/not laying yet
