8 years ago today, I used the money from selling my Mustang to buy my first homebrewing equipment.
A lot has changed in those 8 years.
I went from being a homebrewer, to buying property, to somehow becoming a “general contractor” with Somewhat Reliable Construction while we built and finished out the brewery, and eventually to becoming a brewery owner. Looking back, it’s pretty crazy to think that selling a car and buying some brewing equipment would eventually lead to all of this.
Since our first soft opening on March 30th, one thing became clear pretty quickly: our original 1BBL brewing system simply wasn’t going to be able to make enough beer to keep up with all of you. At that size, we could make enough beer to be open for about a day and a half each week before running out.
That’s a pretty good problem to have.
This past weekend, we were able to take another big step forward and acquire a **3.5BBL professional brewing system!**
Once we get everything installed and up and running, we’ll be able to brew enough of your favorite beers to keep them in stock more consistently. Even better, the original 1BBL system isn’t going anywhere. We’ll be able to use it to experiment, have some fun, and hopefully have something new for you to try each week.
And there’s more coming.
🍺 Growler fills
🍺 Build-your-own 6-packs to go
🍺 A covered patio
🍺 A stage
🍺 More indoor seating
🍺 And plenty more that we’re working toward
I’ll never be able to thank my family and friends enough for everything they’ve done to help me get to this point. There have been a lot of long days, late nights, and people willing to lend a hand whenever it was needed.
And I especially want to thank **all of you** who continue to come out and support us every week.
Without your support over these past few months, buying this new equipment wouldn’t have been possible. Every beer you’ve had, every friend you’ve brought with you, every post you’ve shared, and every time you’ve come back has helped us keep moving forward.

Today, we’re growing a brewery.
And we’re just getting started. 🍻
