This weekend, Miriam and I celebrated our anniversary by going down and hanging out in St. George. While we were there, we decided to compete in the BBQ PIT STOP STEAK CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES event. I am so grateful for this woman and that she shares my passion for cooking competitions.

We did pretty well at this competition. In all we took:

First and 4th in Nachos
First and 2nd in Sandwiches
Seventh and (another first for me) DAL in Steak A
Second and 16th in Steak B
Sixth in Ribs

I was fortunate enough to punch both of my golden tickets to the 2026 SCA World Championships yesterday.

Congratulations to Chuck Gretty Lauria, Morgan Strunk, and Thomas Bolling for their wins as well.
