2023 HAF Summer Camp

Hidden Acres Farm in Springtown Pa. is offering summer camp again in 2023. Daily riding lessons and learning how to care for your pony, swimming, crafts and horse shows. Camp is from 9-3 and for an additional fee there is before and after care available for your child at $25 per day. Camp is $395 per child with a 10% discount for each additional child.

10% discounts offered if you sign up early.

Ages 3-18

Camp weeks are 6/26, 7/10, 7/17 advanced, 7/24

Limited spots available and can be held with a 50% non-refundable deposit. We are looking forward to a fun summer!

Great night Eventing at BCHP. The kids did great and had fun doing it. I love teaching the kids to ride outside the ring 💕💕.

The divisions were big and my little hunter/eq. kids went in all three phases and killed it!

The bonus was two judges came to me and commented on the ponies and their riders.

We are super excited to say we have added the SI PEMF Pro 3 in 1 Equine therapy blank to program. Monkey had the pleasure of enjoying one while he stayed in Florida, now we have one for our farm.

Our farms first Eventing adventure with the lesson groups:

Such a fun night, I am so proud of all the kids tonight! Congratulations to all the kids, you all exceeded my expectations and went out, rode great and with such confidence. I love the fact that we all wanted to try something new and jumped right in, practiced and had a great time. While I had no real expectations other then to come back in one piece and everyone having a good time, you all came home happy and with a ribbon.

We did have one mishaps with our Ayla, she had a good dressage test, beautiful stadium and almost done cross country she had a fall and broke her ankle. She’s doing ok but I am sure she’s a bit disappointed ☹️. She rode really strong tonight, but apparently Blackie enjoyed catering up the hill a bit to much and was overly proud of herself after the first 8 fences and decided to leave her rider behind and stop 🛑 for a grass snack. Ayla we are hoping for a quick recovery ❤️‍🩹 so your back in the saddle to finish what you started 💝

As for the rest of the kids, ever single ride tonight I was so proud!

Congratulations to..

Colbi for bring home that blue ribbon in her division. You and Ditto rocked all three phases.

Taylor and Rose 🌹 also rode outstanding to bring home the second place in her division.

Charlee and Dusty hammered out some rules to bring home that 4th place and it was definitely well earned.

Nina found her tough brave inner self and rode like she I knew she could do she and Pal took home a 5th in there Division.

Mary and Miggy also rocked there Division and had the most beautiful dressage test 💕

Finally, last but definitely not least Dalyce and the amazing Ink rocked all three phases. Dalyce…. Your cross country melted my heart, very well ridden. You make me very proud the way you ride that pony. Such a great team. You ride that pony to a 5th place finish in a tough division and some pretty big fences and looked beautiful doing it!

Congratulations to our young group of riders on another great show. Once again we brought home many champion and reserve ribbons.

My highlight as I sit here and ponder is how proud I am of all the kids but I must say there are a few kids that tough it out year round, in the cold, rain, snow, heat, bugs, sickness, bucks, falls and god knows what else that really make me remember why I love this job. It makes me sooo proud to see two kids today really just show me they can ride.

I am so proud of Ayla, she rode Blackie so well, got all her changes, found all her spots a did exactly what was asked of her. I am over the moon to see her advance. We are fully moving on up! Not to mention she rides like this because she’s one who rides no matter what the weather, what pony I put her on, or what kind of mood the pony is in.

Dalyce had two rough rides and after what most kids would give up on or just trot to finish, she went in the ring ignoring my decision and rode her final course like she owned it! Makes me so happy she was tough and even with tears she sucked it up and did it. She’s also another die hard rider who’s here no matter what!

I want all of the kids to enjoy riding and I want my ponies loved most of all but I do love the sweet smell of successful kids. Learning, growing and becoming real horsemen is what it’s all about!

Once again congratulations to all today!

On a final note….. I somehow from only two shows managed to pull off the second highest trainer points out of the series so I won a bridle. I was so excited I screamed lol. Thank you guys for riding so well that I benefited 😊

What a fantastic first show of 2022 for our younger group. We could not be more proud of how well everyone did and your horse MANAGEMENT skills. Everyone made sure they were there before or after and during to care for their ponies. Thank you Charlie for keeping them watered.. you get extra points for that!

Congratulations to…..

Alya for moving up into the jumper ring, riding like she’s been there before and bringing home Champion. No stirrups in lessons certainly pays off!

Taylor brings home champion in the minis once again.

Scotty was reserve in the minis and looking very ready for showing.

Kloe made her debut in the show ring and overcame her fears and did an excellent job bringing home some good ribbons.

Skyelar had a tough first few rides with a very sassy pony but kept her composure and came out with good ribbons. With a last minute pony change to good old Cayanne she brought home a blue.

Daylce and the ss queen, Cayanne, brought home reserve with some beautiful over fences trips.

Nina had great ribbons aboard Pal and did a great job overcoming her fears as well.

Charlee had a “wow.. omg.. that’s a naughty pony” kind of show but she kept her composure and handled the pony, and came out with very good ribbons. I am super proud of her!

Ella also had her first show and managed to bring home a blue ribbon and reserve champion in her division. What a great way to start off her show career.
