Here's a real-life example of how simple making a whole-chicken dinner can be:
(Super) rough-cut veg
Simple spatchcocked chicken
Basic spices (butter, salt, pepper, and dried onion flakes)
For those who tried out our simple spatchcocking tutorial at the Idaho Falls Farmers Market and haven't yet used their newfound superpower, we highly recommend. It's perfect for the busy home cook and is absolutely delicious!
Pro-tip #1: If you have the space in your fridge, resting the chicken on a cooling rack over a baking sheet for a day or two is an amazing life choice 😉
Pro-tip #2: If we can catch the center of the breast at about 160°F when the surface is above 165°, we'll take it out and let it finish coming up to temp as it rests (we confirm with a digital meat thermometer - it usually take 5-10 minutes sitting on the counter).
Happy cooking!
