⚠️ WARNING: You’re about to meet Bridgit.
She will say, “I just need something simple,” and 20 minutes later you’ll be discussing cocktail names, keg sizes, liquor licensing, a 24×36 sign, whether the font is western enough, and how many gallons of vodka lemonade 300 people can reasonably drink.
She has approximately 47 things going on at any given moment, and somehow she knows exactly what’s happening with all of them.
Do not tell her something “can’t be done.”
She will immediately figure out how to do it, turn it into an event, get a temporary liquor license for it, and probably make a Facebook flyer.
She has a dangerous ability to turn ordinary beverages into things with names like High Desert Something-or-Other, put them in a cute mug, and suddenly charge $15 for them. 😂
If she says, “I have an idea…”
Clear your schedule.
If she asks, “How much alcohol do I need?”
There is an event coming, and you are already involved whether you realize it or not.
She is equal parts business owner, bartender, event planner, graphic designer, Chamber organizer, accountant, problem solver, and “fine, I’ll just do it myself.”
She will change the flyer six times.
And then change it back to version three.
She operates almost entirely on determination, community events, prickly pear, and the belief that there is definitely room for one more thing on the calendar.
Proceed with caution.
You’re going to have fun, but there WILL be a spreadsheet, a cocktail, or a trailer involved. Possibly all three. 🤠🍹🌵😂
