Alot of people get confused why his is name is Pepper.... He wasn't always as white as he is now. (picture of Pepper from 2007 and a picture of him 2026.) When Pepper came to Savannah over 20 years ago his brother had more white than him at the time and that is how they got the name Salt and Pepper.

Newly named Dora the Explorer did almost get drop kicked by Pepper though. 🤦🏼‍♀️ He just does not like other animals next to him while he's eating.

Moved the 7 chickie girls from the brooder box to their new home in the intro coop. They still are not ready to go in with our older chickens in the movable coop just yet.
Our daughter had to make sure they were all comfy in the new living quarters. 🐤 🐔

This morning we woke up to Brutus having a hard time breathing and not able to settle down. 😢We believe he caught a cold and ended up with phemonia or severe upper respiratory infection that with his age and already having the pancreatitis he couldn't fight through.

He is no longer in pain and passed over the rainbow bridge. He was a great dog and always made us feel safe in our home knowing we was our protector. He was just under 12 years old.

We love you buddy and we are all going to miss you. 💜

He's still enjoying the farm life but his age is definitely catching up with him.
We found out today he has pancreatitis and has been having small seizures. Getting his meds sorted and starting him on that chicken and rice diet. He's going to be sooo upset about eating chicken and rice instead of dog food. 😅 jk.

He is the goodest boy.

When it's spring and you have a white horse. 🐴🤣

Pepper's winter coat is coming off in fistfulls now and there is white horse hair everywhere you look.
It is our version of snow in springtime ❄️🐴
