Lightly strained honey > a jar full of wax cappings.

We lightly strain our honey, leaving all the big chunks behind while making sure we get all that pure goodness in every single jar.

Always raw. Always *lightly* strained.

Be honest, would you eat it straight from the hive? It’s dang good! 😆

How many bees did you spot? 👀

A bee watering station is one of the easiest ways to help pollinators thrive. Use a shallow dish, add rocks or sticks, and fill with water. Making sure they have plenty of safe landing spots so they can take a sip without drowning!

Let me know if you make one!

Cutting some charcoal soap today 🖤 this one’s for our oily people 🙋🏼‍♀️

Now it begins the long road to your shower. A 5 week cure, a beveling, and yes, we “wash” the soap.. I know, it’s soap 🤪 and we don’t wash it like you’d normally do under the sink. But my mind works a particular way, and I need it looking just right before it hits the shelves

And yes, we use our honey in every bar! It’s a natural humectant that helps keep your skin hydrated 🍯

Caught us a small swarm last week and we put them into one of our little bee boxes and are feeding them a 1:1 sugar + water syrup to help them get established.

We finally saw the queen and are excited to watch them grow! Here’s to hoping they decide to stick around with us.. most do because we treat our bees like our babies 😉🤎🐝

🚨 You might see THIS in your yard right now.. but don’t panic! It’s just swarming season 🐝

This is when bees leave their hive in search of a new home. It might seem a little frightening to find in your yard or on your porch, but they’re usually just passing through.

If you see a swarm hanging in a tree, bush, or even off your porch, message us if your local and we’ll come take a look for you! Most of the time they’ll move on within a day or two. 🌸

Good morning from the honey farm 🍯
We spotted our first hummingbird of the season, which means spring is officially here! Made our rounds checking on all our little farm babies, and soaked in a slow, peaceful start to the day. Happy Friday, y’all!
