❤️TRANSPARENCY MOMENT CONCERNING EVENTS & FOOD TRUCK BOOKINGS 🍟
We truly want to take a moment to address a few things moving forward when it comes to booking Ju**ie Fries for events. First off, we genuinely appreciate every single person, business, school, church, festival, and organization that even considers inviting us out. The love and support never go unnoticed 💯❤️ But we also want to be fully transparent about how food truck events work behind the scenes not just for us, but for MANY food trucks.
When reaching out to book Ju**ie Fries (or honestly ANY food truck), there are a few important questions that help us determine if an event makes sense financially and operationally for everyone involved.
We will now need to know:
✅ Is this a brand-new event or an established annual event?
✅ How many people are realistically expected to attend?
✅ If this is a returning event, what was the previous attendance?
✅ How many food trucks/vendors are already booked?
✅ Are there vendor fees, percentage cuts, or required payments involved?
The reason we ask these questions is because food trucks invest A LOT before ever arriving to an event.
We purchase inventory, prep food, fuel trucks, pay staff, travel city to city, cover propane, packaging, permits, insurance, generator costs, and more ALL before the first customer even orders.
Sometimes food trucks are invited to events with:
❌ Low attendance
❌ Too many food vendors
❌ High vendor fees
❌ Poor spacing/setup
❌ Limited communication
❌ No real customer traffic
And unfortunately, situations like that can cause small businesses to actually lose money instead of profit. We believe in honesty and transparency, and we want event organizers to understand that food trucks are not just “pulling up” — this is our livelihood, our families, and our full-time business.
A successful event works BEST when:
🔥 Attendance is strong
🔥 Vendor counts make sense
🔥 Communication is clear
🔥 Everyone involved has a fair opportunity to profit
We are not against vendor fees when the event truly makes sense. We simply want to make sure events are structured in a way where BOTH the organizers and vendors can win together 🤝
Again, thank you guys for constantly thinking of Ju**ie Fries. The support means more than you know and we will continue to work best we can with small or bigger events also regular bookings/visits❤️
