Can’t even put into words the amount of joy, emotion, love, connection amd even GROWTH that has taken place for so many over the last week.. Our team finished strong- and bonded well.. My co-leads were flat out .. they played hard, and loved on the littles hard.. quite honestly I didn’t think I was gonna be able to keep up lol but I made it to the other side and I am a lil sad that it’s over already..

Eight years ago, I made a decision that set off a chain reaction, altering the course of my life. That choice led to losing relationships with some family and friends, and I found myself selling or giving away my remaining possessions. I walked away from the first place I could call my own.

In that moment of surrender, I met a community that wanted nothing from me but to see me become the best version of myself. They supported me, poured into me, and taught me how to love and trust people like never before. What started as one act of surrender became a daily practice. Although it seemed like I was giving up everything, I realized I had nothing worth holding onto and everything to gain.

Today, I sit in a home that my wife and I will probably spend the rest of our lives paying off, but it’s ours. We share it with our children, teaching them to navigate today’s world with biblical morals and principles, and to love everybody always, regardless of the situation.

Every day is not easy; in fact, most days are challenging. But each day is worth it when it begins with a single act of surrender. I love what Jesus is doing in my life today. The refinement process can be tough, but giving up is not in my nature. I’m committed to this journey of sanctification, refusing to quit.

Every day is a good day to get to know our Creator on a deeper level. We do it together, side by side. We alone can do it, but we cannot do it alone.
