We have lots of little projects to get involved in, fun for kids of all ages, garden boxes still available, and delicious food donated by Lira's Supermarket !

It's a fun day for the family and community as we get this project started!!!

The wait is almost over! Our community garden in Rio Vista is almost ready, and we're hosting a special event THIS Saturday to bring everyone together. With construction nearly complete, we're excited to share this opportunity with the community. We'll be building, planting, and fostering relationships. A huge thank you to Warren Gomes of Warren E Gomes Excavating ! Without his help a community garden wouldn't be quite possible! He came in today and tilled and leveled the property in preparation for next week's Opening!! This is what community helping community looks like!!

Hammerhead Worms have shown up in the Sacramento Valley and since it closer than not, I feel the need to educate our gardening community about them a little.

They are invasive. They are poisonous. They will kill your plants and crops. Below is a copy of a general Google search of information. If anyone has any more information to add, please do so to help keep our gardening community informed.
