Hey folks!

I will be at the Hudson Farmers Market on CARMICHAEL this Saturday from 8-12.

The line up will be a bit different this week.

Classic chocolate and cinnamon Babka along with Apricot and raspberry Hamentaschen and a few Challah loaves.

There will be new flavors of both Babka and Hamentaschen. Check back in a couple of days to see what I have in store!

Babka will be at the Hudson Farmers Market on CARMICHAEL today from 8-12 along with a ton of other incredible vendors!

I did a walk through to check things out this morning and you are NOT going to want to miss this one! Kids days and John's day which means lots of fun things to do, treats to try and an opportunity to support part of the vendor family.

No lemon Hamentaschen today but I did bring a brand new treat:

Rugelach!

Come give it a go along with Apricot and Fig Hamentaschen, Lemon white chocolate Babka, Cinnamon or Chocolate Babka.

Sometimes the best ideas come to you when you're wide awake in the middle of the night scrolling when you should be sleeping.

Ideas like this Almond Croissant Babka.

If an almond croissant and babka got together and had a baby, this would be it and let me tell you, what a beautiful baby it is 😍

The perfect amount of sweetness combined with the toasty nuttiness from the almond frangipane filling is beyond words.

These beauties are costly and labor intensive to make so I'll only have a few, but if you get to the market early next Saturday you just might be able to grab one for yourself.

Hey folks!

Just a heads up that I will not be at the Hudson Farmers market on August 1st but I will be returning for the August 8th market. Remember that I will likely not be in the same spot every week so be sure to round the full market!

Secondly, I've had a few people ask about placing orders. Currently I am not taking large or online orders however if you would like to guarantee that you go home with something sweet you can always message me here ahead of time to reserve something. You simply need to let me know what you'd like to reserve, send payment via Venmo and then pick up your order at the market!

Thank you all again for your support. It is beyond anything that I could have anticipated and I have absolutely loved hearing all of your feedback and seeing so many of you week after week!

I am LOADED with Babka, including the new favorite White Chocolate Lemon loaf 🍋🤤 So popular that this is it's third week in a row as the "weekly flavor".

It's kids day at the market complete with face painting, ice cream and even a reptile booth! And that's on top of all of the already amazing vendors.

Food has never been a simple source of sustenance for me. For as long as I can remember food has been about comfort, family (in whatever form you find it) and expression. As I have gotten older it is something that I have become deeply passionate about. Food is something that is so important to every single one of us and yet, we overlook the cultural, environmental and social significance of it every day. At yesterday's market there were many conversations about the cultural relevance of the treats that I bake and sell. One of my very favorite things about selling at a market is that I do get to interact with people face to face. I get the privilege of listening to stories and memories that my babka pulls forward from childhood or occasional holidays. I get to see people try something new and watch their excitement bloom as they talk about who they want to share it with. Inevitably conversations about my cultural background occasionally turn to historical ones or even travel tales. I'm just here to say that I am deeply grateful for every single person who has visited the Hudson Farmers Market on CARMICHAEL this season and stopped by my table. You all allow me to indulge in and share my passion and I am so excited to continue to do so.

I hope you're planning to stop by the Hudson Farmers Market on CARMICHAEL this Saturday because I will be there absolutely packed with treats!

The newest addition? These incredible, iconic black and white cookies.

They're chewy. They're tender. They're sweet and if you haven't had one you are absolutely missing out. The worst thing about them is deciding which side to eat first.

Chocolate Babka
Cinnamon Babka
Lemon White Chocolate Babka (a huge hit as a new addition last week so it's making a comeback)
Challah Loaves
Apricot and Raspberry Hamentaschen
