🐔Farm Closure Announcement🐔
It is with a heavy heart that I share some important news: our poultry operations will be closing at the end of this year.
After much thought, reflection, prayer, and discussion with my wife, I know that this is the right step forward for both my family and myself.
This decision has not come easily, but due to personal reasons, I am no longer able to continue operating the farm at the level that it needs to continue to be successful.
As we begin winding things down, we will be selling various farm-related items, including poultry, poultry supplies, brooding supplies, coops/pens, fencing and processing equipment. We’ll be posting available items here in the coming weeks, so please stay tuned if any of these items are of interest to you.
Egg deliveries to retailers will continue to occur while we go through the process of finding new homes for our flocks, however I do not have a timeline for when egg products will be absent from stores.
Our final farmer’s market will be November 15th at the Bird Post Market in Calallen. There we will be working to sell all of the remaining meat products that we have and to sell through the remaining OnlyHens T-Shirts and tote bags.
We will continue to make limited batches of jerky and offer our dog treat products, and I will update you all later as to how and where you will be able to get those items. Additionally, our Online Merchandise store will remain open, and your support from that will continue to go towards and fund future expenses.
Ephesians 3:1 says, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” Over the last 5 years, we’ve been incredibly blessed by God and by the support, encouragement, and loyalty of our customers, friends, and fellow farmers. You've helped us grow from a simple idea into something we are so proud of—one that’s earned recognition, built community, and brought joy and full stomachs to so many. From the bottom of our hearts, again, thank you!
