Hey everyone! I’m so excited to share a little project that’s very close to my heart… Working in schools and seeing firsthand how many children and families experience difficult seasons has often made me think, “What is something I can do with what I already have?”

And for me… that’s cake!

Every single child deserves to feel incredibly celebrated on their birthday. That’s why I'm starting One Cake at a Time, a small, local initiative born out of a desire to use the gift of baking to bless families in our community. If a family is going through a tough financial season and a birthday cake just isn't in the budget right now, we want to help step in and sweeten their day. 🎂 We are starting small literally one cake at a time!

My hope is that, as this grows, I can also reach children in foster care, shelters, and other difficult circumstances because every child deserves a moment where they feel seen, loved, and celebrated. 🤍

Here is how it works:

• No paperwork, no stress: You never need to provide proof of income or hardship documentation. Just share whatever you are comfortable sharing with us.

• Just a heads up: Because this is a small, heart-leading effort, cakes are offered as time, resources, and availability allow. Submitting a nomination doesn't 100% guarantee a cake, but we will always do our absolute best.

• A nomination will be selected in a monthly basis: I will contact the selected family and obtain cake details.

If you know a local family who could use a little extra love and a beautiful cake for an upcoming birthday, please reach out. Let’s make sure these kids get the special day they deserve

Esta misma pregunta tambien surge constantemente en mis clases de reposteria, especialmente entre estudiantes que estan comenzando y desean aprender a cotizar correctamente sus bizcochos
Aqui Les comparto esta guia de porciones aproximadas para bizcochos mojaditos doble barril (6” de alto) para ayudarles a escoger el tamaño ideal segun su actividad 💕
📌 Las porciones pueden variar dependiendo del corte y del tamaño en que se sirva el bizcocho.
📌 Los bizcochos mojaditos suelen rendir mas porque son altos, humedos y consistentes.
