Some recipes carry more than flavor—they carry memories.

For our pastry chef, Eman, kahk has always meant family. Every Eid, the kitchen would fill with the smell of warm butter, flour, and powdered sugar as generations gathered to bake together. There was laughter, little hands helping shape the dough, and trays of kahk waiting to be shared with neighbors, friends, and loved ones.

Those moments inspired the name Seto—our grandmother, whose love was always shared through food.

Today, Eman still makes our kahk the same way: by hand, with the same care and traditions she grew up with. Every bite is a reminder that some of life’s sweetest memories are made around the kitchen table.

Whether kahk is part of your own celebration or tradition or you’re trying it for the first time, we hope it feels like home.
