NOW HIRIING - MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Reichel Foods, a local food manufacturer, has enjoyed 20+ years in the Rochester area and has a first shift opening for highly motivated and capable technicians for one of our food manufacturing locations.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience – Able to identify and replace faulty motors, servomotors, sensors
• Pneumatic and hydraulic experience – Able to troubleshoot, repair and replace defective parts
• Able to meet Physical Environment and Working Conditions requirements
• Proficient use of multi-meter
• Capable of reading schematics and electrical diagrams
• Prior food manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Own basic tools or able to purchase (SAE and metric)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Follow workplace safety rules
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
• Record work completed on Computerized Maintenance Management System
• Able to effectively communicate with other employees and departments
• Perform daily Preventive Maintenance
• Diagnose unplanned maintenance issues with production equipment and repair
• Occasional simple fabrication including TIG welding

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
• Ability to use or learn Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and Office programs
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication skills and positive attitude

JOB TYPE: Full-time
SCHEDULE: 8 hour shift
SALARY: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Reichel Foods is seeking an experienced Financial Controller, or Comptroller, to undertake all aspects of financial management. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities
• Manage accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting & Revenue Recognition
• Budget/Financial forecasts & report variances
• Prepare & publish monthly financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Support month-end & year end close process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions & financial reporting
• Manage/Comply with local, state & federal government reporting requirements/tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain/strengthen internal controls
• Assist with important financial decisions
• Prepare financial documents (business reports, financial forecasts & statements) to understand the financial state of business
• Monitor the company’s financial reports & determine ways to reduce costs
• Understand company financials to meet legal requirements
• Keep the financial statements in good standing

Requirements & Qualifications
• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller
• 5+ years of overall combined accounting & finance experience
• Advanced degree in Accounting
• CPA or CMA preferred
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles & procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Experience with general ledger functions & the month-end/year end close process
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills (GP Dynamics experience and Microsoft Office highly desired)
• Ability to work occasional weekend
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management about the finances of business and justify certain financial recommendation
