One year ago, we took a leap of faith and launched The Taco Cartel. What started as a dream has grown into something bigger than we could have ever imagined, and it’s all because of YOU.

While we didn’t take home the top spot, being named a Top 3 Finalist in Hour Detroit’s Best of Detroit is an incredible honor and a testament to the love and support we’ve received from our community.

To our family, friends, loyal customers, corporate partners, neighborhoods, schools, and everyone who has stood by us from day one thank you. Every event booked, every taco ordered, every social media share, and every word of encouragement has helped us grow.

As a small family-owned business, there have been long days, late nights, and countless sacrifices, but seeing the smiles on your faces makes it all worth it.

This year we were finalists. Next year, we’re coming for the win. 🏆🌮

Thank you for believing in us, supporting local, and allowing us to do what we love every single day.

1 year ago, we took a leap and launched The Taco Cartel 🌮

The support, love, and loyalty we’ve received since day one has NOT gone unnoticed and we are beyond grateful for every single one of you who has shown up for us, booked us, shared us, and believed in us.

We’re incredibly proud to announce that we are a Best of Detroit 2026 Finalist 🏆

I’ll be honest I found out the day voting was closing. I felt everything… surprised, frustrated, even a little discouraged that we weren’t reached out to sooner. But if there’s one thing about us we turn pressure into power.

With only 7 hours left, we went ALL IN texting, posting, reaching out and you all SHOWED UP in a big way. That moment reminded me exactly why we do this.

No matter the outcome, we’re already winning because of this community.
