A little extra room for baked goods, pantry staples, homemade seasonings, and a rotation of whatever goodies we’ve been busy making around the homestead!

• Scratch made sourdough oatmeal cream pies

From the homestead:

Learning never stops here at Wild Whalen Acre.

Today, we weeded and through that learned a little bit more about the edible and medicinal purposes of some of them.

We harvested goods for home and to share with neighbors at our farmstand.

And we tended to our mealworm farm.

The youngest Wild Whalen Acre members got to learn about lifecycles all the while gathering scrumptious treats for our beautiful flock that gifts us all with the best eggs!

In between the rain showers, we thanked it for helping our crops grow, and unapologetically took some time for R&R indoors.

I baked some scratch goodies for the weekend and it was a darn good day.

I hope you all experienced a piece of joy, too! 🫶🏼

Fresh from the kitchen and headed to the stand today.

• Sourdough pretzel bites
• Cinnamon sugar sourdough pretzel bites
• Homemade honey mustard dipping sauce
• Fresh sourdough boules
• Banana coffee cake muffins

Plus fresh eggs, garden goodies, handcrafted items, and whatever else we’ve tucked into the stand this morning.

If you’re out enjoying the sunshine, swing by the pull off after the white farmhouse just past the Route 73 bridge at the turn of Route 100. The stand is stocked and ready for you.

As always, thank you for supporting our little homestead. Every loaf, muffin, and jar is made right here in our kitchen with a whole lot of care.

You know what time it is!
Sourdough Fridays!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🥖🍞

Yes- Fridays have become the day to expect fresh loaves hitting the farm stand! (With occasional pop up loaves throughout the week)

These beauts are fresh out of the oven and cooling.
If you need a slice of one, come grab the loaf when they hit the stand later this afternoon!
