Fun Fact: Why are we called Black Bear Popcorn?

We get asked this all the time!

We absolutely LOVE visiting the mountains of Tennessee, and every time we go, we have the best time spotting black bears in the wild and in public spaces. They’re one of our favorite things about visiting the mountains, so naturally, they inspired our name!

And here's a pretty cool fact we discovered: black bears love popcorn! In some places, popcorn is even used as bait to attract them. Don't worry, we would NEVER do that!

We're currently on vacation in Tennessee, and on Day 1, we've already seen FOUR black bears!

Looks like we're living up to our name!

Black Bear Popcorn is taking a little summer break!

We’ll be on vacation August 10th–24th and will not be accepting orders during this time.

But don’t worry, we’ll be back soon, and we’re already looking forward to getting back in the kitchen and bringing out some of our favorite fall flavors!

Thank you for your patience and for always supporting our small business. We can’t wait to be popping again with you soon!
