Carroll Street Treats 100% kid owned, "for purpose" ministry serving the best homemade ice cream sandwiches in the Midwest. To date, we have funded 12 "Pay It Forward" projects.

The mission of Carroll Street Treats is to simply serve you our favorite ice cream treat. Through this venture, we are learning the value of hard work, teamwork, financial responsibility, business management, servant-hood and stewardship. 14% of all proceeds are donated back to the community. From founder to professional football player, Reece, the President of Carroll Street Treats, leads with excellence and good will.

Building a business while growing with it is the story of Reece’s foundation. From an eight year old with an ice cream dream to a college sophomore majoring in business/finance and entrepreneurship, Reece’s passion for growth and using his gifts to glorify continue to garner success.

His current season of life has him removed from the day to day operations, but you can catch him making sweet plays as a wide receiver for the Iowa Hawkeye football team. Growing into Eastern Iowa is next on the vision board.

From a kid who baked over 80,000+ cookies to a culture changer in Iowa City, Reece exemplifies the truth that a small town kid can make a big time impact.

While balancing a full school/sports schedule, along with getting his CNA certification, this young man has designed our new website and created an app for the team to track orders. Kids these days are truly amazing! 👏🏻

🍪 Meet the Team 🍪

Every good team needs a Swiss Army knife member who can do it all and we are thankful for ours!

Liam, CFO of CST, manages expenses, payroll and all things business. He is also the team's main ice cream sandwich filler (and undoubtedly the fastest). He has filled an upwards of 10,000 treats and has the grip strength to prove it. If you've had a Snickerdoodle treat, he's most likely baked the cookies, too!

Liam is commencing his senior year at CL, with plans to attend The University of Iowa for Psychology with a desire to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He is grateful for a job that is flexible, with a mission that matters.

As with any small business, your support directly impacts the future of those involved. Liam plans to invest his earnings with great intention and impact; thank you! 🙌

Every successful business has a multitasking master, and for us, it's Ayda!

Ayda is the glue to CST's organization and planning, especially when it comes to staying ahead of supplies and inventory. She's a skilled systems gal, operates well in a fast-paced environment and keeps a responsible pulse on all facets of operation.

On top of wrapping almost every treat that goes out the door, she bakes the majority of the chocolate chip and chocolate brownie cookies.

Ayda is a sophomore at CL and finds joy in sports, fruit smoothies and friendships. She is grateful for a job with flexibility and an opportunity to make money while doing something fun.
