This has been something I’ve been thinking about for a long time—honestly, ever since I got pregnant.

After a lot of back and forth, I’ve decided it’s time to step away from Comstock Cookie Co.

This wasn’t an easy decision. I still want to contribute to my household, and a part of me feels sad to let this chapter go. But taking care of my sweet girl, keeping up with our home, and navigating postpartum has shown me that this is already a full-time job. I’m realizing that I’m doing enough, and it’s okay for my priorities to change.

Maybe one day I’ll start another business that’s a better fit for this season of life, but right now my family needs me most.

I’ll absolutely still be baking for family and friends because I truly love it, but I no longer have the time to keep up with running an entire business on my own.

Because of that, I’ll be selling a lot of my baking supplies and packaging. If you’re interested in anything, send me a message!

Thank you to everyone who supported Comstock Cookie Co. over the last almost two years. Every order, share, kind word, and recommendation meant so much to me. This business gave me so many wonderful memories, and I’m incredibly grateful for all of the support along the way.

Hello guys, long time no see!

I’d like to officially announce that my daughter has made her arrival, and she is absolutely the best. We’re soaking up all the newborn snuggles and enjoying every moment with her.

As for baking, I’m not exactly sure when I’ll be back yet. Navigating mom life has been quite the adjustment, and I’m taking things one day at a time. I promise I’ll keep you all updated as I figure things out and know more about when I’ll be able to start taking orders again.

I am officially sold out of my pistachio butter as of today, and I won’t be restocking until after my maternity leave.

My due date is coming up so quickly, and it’s almost time for me to step away from the kitchen for a little while! I will be accepting orders through April 30th, and then taking a break to welcome my sweet baby and adjust to mom life 🤍

I’m hoping to be back by mid-August, but I’ll keep you all updated along the way!

That being said — I’m completely open for orders this month, so let’s get you booked for something sweet before I go on maternity leave! ✨

I figured it was about time for a little reintroduction now that we have so many new faces here — and it’s been a while!

My name is Freedom, and I started Comstock Cookie Co. on August 19, 2024. What began as a way to help cover medical bills while my husband and I were navigating infertility (along with some other health challenges) quickly turned into something so much more.

What started as a hobby became my dream job. And here I am, almost two years later, still baking homemade, homestyle cookies and treats and serving the sweetest community I could ask for.

Now, as I prepare to welcome our rainbow baby in May 2026, I’m getting ready to balance motherhood and business ownership — learning how to be a mama for the first time while continuing to grow this little business that means so much to me.
