We spent some time last night getting some pictures of our older calves. Some are available. Send us a message. Some are AI calves and some are out of our Cain’s Pinnacle son.

I truly believe this is our best calf crop we have ever produced. Most are out of our herd sire Diamonds Peak (Cain’s Pinnacle son) and a few are AI. 2 are already sold waiting on pick up. We will be keeping a few but we can’t keep them all.

We AI’d Sweet De Ann (C1168775) to CF Bravado yesterday. She has won multiple shows in her class. We had the opportunity to purchase her about a month ago. She still has her heifer calf in the show ring being shown now. We will wait and pray she sticks. But even if she doesn’t, we will put her with our bull Diamond’s Peak (C1176863).

Walking in the pasture tonight and this first calf Apocalypse daughter (C1173001) decided to pose with her Lyssy 683 heifer calf (P352311)

Our Cain’s Pinnacle son “Diamond’s Peak”. C1176863. I’m a little biased but I think he’s one of the best Cain’s Pinnacle sons out there. This guy is gonna be a big bull. He’s also gentle as they come. His first calf will hit the ground at the end of Sept. out of a Trademark granddaughter

Yesterday, we had Bert Cloete visit and artificially inseminate eight of our females, consisting of five cows and three heifers. Bert implemented his protocol, and all eight females exhibited strong heats. We will now wait 30 days and conduct blood tests, with the goal of having all eight successfully conceive via AI. But we know we are not in control of what happens, God has His plan and we will follow whatever plan He puts in front. Have a great Sunday!!
