Martin Brothers Show Lambs

Sold!

A couple of Suffolk ewes for sale. My son as decided to focus on football instead of show into the fall and at NAILE. Both are bred by Slack Club Lambs and have strong pedigrees. RR and clean throughout!

The first one is our February Lamb and she keeps getting better and better as the show season progresses! She has done well at summer shows and was Champion Suffolk Ewe at Parke County Fair!

The second one is a nice lamb that just didn’t get as much attention in the last couple of months as she didn’t go to State Fair. She is very calm and show broke though. Born in January.

The Martin Brothers had a pretty good run at the State Fair! They did best when they worked as a team. We were pretty excited to place in the top 5 with “Casey” as she was bred and raised by us! Mason and Casey are quite the pair, and you can tell Mason has put a lot of love and work in her! It hits a little differently when you do well with one you breed and raise. Even Mason (the competitive one) said he was most happy about placing 5th with Casey than getting 4th with Jade, his Hampshire ewe.

Mason also put a lot of work into Jade. She got a little feisty with him but the boys got her shown with Mason on the head and Jacob placing her feet! She placed 4th in her class.

Jacob was a great big brother in helping Mason show. Jacob has learned that he likes breeding and showing his own. He is hoping for some good ones from his babies at home next year, especially his favorite, Prancer. Still, he did well with his Suffolk - got 6th place.

2026 Parke County Fair was an amazing show for Martin Brothers Show Lambs and our family. Jacob and Mason put in the work this year, and it showed this past week! It’s pretty special when you breed and raise the Grand Champion Ewe! We bred and raised 3 out of the 4 we took and all 3 won champion for their breed and 2 took home Grand Champion!

Thank you all to our village and to the Parke County Fair Board and Volunteers for a great fair week!

We recently purchased this outstanding Slack Suffolk ewe, but have decided not to show her this season due to a change in our son’s show plans - not because of anything related to the ewe.

She is a January 2026- born ewe lamb, sired by 4286, a Big Time Bob son, and carries RRNNFF.

She is a good, correct ewe with a bright future and will make a someone a very nice addition to their program!
