It’s the sound of lids popping.
The smell of peppers simmering.
The counters covered in jars.
The label printer working overtime.
Event season is about to begin — and Brenda’s Pepper Patch is officially in ramp-up mode. That means:
✔️ Small batch jelly making
✔️ Seasoning refills
✔️ Soup mix restocks
✔️ Cornbread test batches
✔️ New ideas quietly in the works
When you see us at that first spring event, just know… March is where the magic happens. Let the sweet heat season begin. 🌶️✨

𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 = 𝙋𝙚𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙩 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥💪🌶️
If you stop by my kitchen this month, you’ll find:
🌶️ Peppers being chopped
🫙 Jars lined up like little soldiers
🧂 Seasonings getting blended
📃 Inventory lists everywhere
👩‍🍳 And me saying, “Okay… just ONE more batch…”
Event season is right around the corner, and we are ramping up production in a big way. 🌸🪻🌷 Spring shows. Farmers markets. Community events.

Look who Spicey Sue stopped to see on her way back through Georgia… 🦫❤️🌶️
You didn’t think she’d pass by without visiting her buddy Buc-ee, did you?
These two go way back (at least in spirit 😉). One brings the sweet heat… the other brings the big smiles.
Spicey Sue may be heading back north, but she couldn’t miss the chance to say hello to a fellow roadside legend.
Friends are friends — even across state lines.
Georgia, thanks for taking care of our girl. Minnesota… she’s coming home. 🔥🌶️

Spicey Sue made a new friend at the beach today… We’re not 100% sure if he likes her sparkling personality…or if he’s just waiting for snacks. 👀🐦 She says they bonded over the ocean breeze and good company.
He says, “Do you have crackers?” Either way, she’s feeling pretty popular down here.

Should we be concerned… or is this the start of a beautiful beach friendship? 🌊🌶️

🌶️ One Year Ago Today… 🌶️ Brenda’s Pepper Patch packed up jars, nerves, and a whole lot of hope… and headed to our very first event ever — the 𝘽𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙁𝙁𝘼 𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙛𝙖𝙨𝙩. We couldn’t be there this year because Spicey Sue is currently on beach vacation duty 🌊☀️ (someone has to supervise the sand, right? 😄) 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆! 🥞 Support the students. 🥓 Enjoy a great breakfast. 🌾 Cheer on the next generation of hardworking young leaders. We are so grateful for where it all began.

Thank you, Belle Plaine, for giving Brenda’s Pepper Patch her very first “yes.” ❤️ We didn’t know what to expect. We just knew we believed in sweet heat, small batch goodness, and showing up. And the rest? Well… the rest is history. ❤️ From that first table setup to farmers markets, craft fairs, loyal customers, new friends, and bigger dreams — it all started at the Belle Plaine FFA Pancake Breakfast.
