Taking a moment to brag on the owner of Young Roots Farm!

Ethan started high school this year, and at the end of middle school, he applied to become an FFA officer. This boy had to go through the process TWICE, and both times he was selected to serve as an officer! We couldn’t be prouder of him.

Today was his first day wearing official FFA dress, and boy does he look sharp! 💙💛

We’re so excited to watch him continue growing his knowledge and love for agriculture—and to see how he uses everything he learns to keep growing Young Roots Farm.

Proud is an understatement!

Started back to school this past week, but the garden is still producing!

I was able to can 7 quarts of green beans and picked these bell peppers this evening.

Even though my farmers market season is over, there’s still plenty happening behind the scenes at Young Roots Farm!

Today was another incredible SELL-OUT day, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end my market season!

I truly cannot thank my customers enough for all the support you’ve shown me. At one point today, I looked up and had a line—a LONG line! 😂 My mom had to remind me, “It’s okay, they’ll wait!” That’s a moment I’ll never forget.

I’m so grateful for each and every one of you who stopped by, bought produce, told a friend, or simply encouraged me along the way.

Just because market season is over for me doesn’t mean the gardening stops! Keep checking back to see all the behind-the-scenes work, and I can’t wait to see everyone again next July!

And don’t forget—the market is still going! Please continue supporting all the other amazing vendors who work so hard each week.
