One door opens and another closes

This morning we woke to the arrival of a new addition to the homestead! Congratulations Dolly girl! We've been long awaiting the new babe!

Now we are ending the day delivering a flock of Brahma hens and rooster to wonderful customers!

So thankful for the life we live and the grace the good Lord gives us!

I knoooow I've been slacking on getting the roster set on here for all of our crazy livestock so what better time to introduce our Dwarf Nigerian Doe Mildred "Millie" and her two new additions!

This first time doe did a fantastic job kidding out these two adorable little bucklings while no one was home!!! I dont have many pictures of the new kids just yet, we were both at work when this happened and i didnt get home till 10 pm so this is what i have for now! Will try to post cuter pics tomorrow ♥️

Ol' crazy eye is broody yet again. Shes hatched out many many peeps here in the last 7 years. This may be her last clutch ever so we're letting her have it. She may not be laying anymore, but the good Broods are worth keeping around to raise the peeps so we dont have to!
