Schroeder Farm God has brought our blended family together and restored so much within us. By Faith in Him we are growing and restoring the family farm.

Our vision is that God would use us and the renewing of the farm for His glory.

We tend to always want to know what’s next or how is this going to work out?

But by doing that we miss what’s in the process for us. We miss the beauty of the journey.

I could have never anticipated how amazing God was going to be with my life. So why waste time stressing about things that are out of my control?

Our words matter. A person who only speaks negatively will likely live a negative miserable. In the opposite affect a person who speaks positively can live a life that is always seeking to see the goodness life has.

It’s not easy to spend time with someone who is always negative, they say that negativity breeds more negativity. I would like to encourage you to use your words carefully today. Honor God with your words and build others up today. Intentionally avoid words that would tear someone down and especially avoid gossip.

Be a blessing to those who hear you speak.

It was a beautiful morning, but at the same time hard morning for my heart. The sunrise was an amazing sight as I did the morning chores, but as I see an empty pasture my heart sunk a little.

We believe God gave us the blessing of cows to feed our family and others. We know everything they have ever eaten and it helps us feel more settled than buying meat at the store. Today was drop off day for our two Jersey steers. Even though I know their purpose was always for this day, my mind still remembers the funny licks I would get from them and the scratches they enjoyed.

Somedays are filled with beauty and at the same time tears flow from a heavy heart.

“Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭126‬:‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬

We are allowed to give ourselves the space for both those things. Be thankful for the beauty that life brings and allow God to walk along side you when sorrow arises.
