3 years ago I saw a headgate system while at my mom's house that left me in awe. I couldn't wait to show Kenny and knew one day we'd have to have it. After our recent working up of the calves, we knew it was time to look into one. Thanks to Dodson Creek Farm Supply, we had the Arriwquip headgate and sweep tub delivered today. I cant wait to set it up and start using it!

Made it over to the farm today to meet the farrier Topanga Brewer, and was able to check out the new calf, Coal. This newest baby is another bull. For those keeping count, thats 5 out of 5 bulls for our boy Seamus.

A large bull calf made his appearance today as calf #16 at Bledsoe Farm. Emma needed a little help at the end, but both are doing great. This calf will be named Ronald, after one of our farms biggest fans, who passed away 2 weeks ago. Ronald wasnt just Kenny's dad, he was also one of our biggest supporters when we started this venture in 2018, and always loved to hear about our newest calves and our plans with the farm. We probably wouldnt have made it this far without him, and we definitely miss him.

We finally got around to finishing up our corral for the top field. We put this together after bushing the last of the thistles. This will make it easier to move the cows from one side to the other.

After an issue with a frayed belt, we finally got back to bush hogging. If allowed, these stupid thistles will take over.
