Small paddocks and a move every 3-5 days means 3-6 (800-900lb) round bales unrolled across every acre of the farm that are wintering the sheep on. Whatever they don’t eat, plus the urine and manure gets left behind for the worms and microbes! This is how we do strategic animal impact in areas that really need the extra fertility!
