As many of you may not know, I spent a lot of time down south cooking bbq competitions everywhere south of Kentucky and east of New Orleans. I met some of the most hospitable and down to earth people during that time, and wouldn’t have been able to elevate my cooking skills without them, which has lead to an even more dedicated passion for authentic, made from the heart with love food.
During my time down south, I fell in love with Cajun and Creole cuisine, which is ultimately what lest to the name The Motown Cajun BBQ Co.
Well, it’s now time to finally bring the love for Cajun to Motown!!!
We are expanding our Menu, and are now serving Gumbo, straight from the heart of Louisiana.
Couldn’t think of a better day to introduce everyone to our what is soon to be the best gumbo you’ve ever had, than a cold and rainy day here during a Michigan spring.
Come on up to the Rec Bowl in Mt Clemons and grab a cup, or bowl, sit back and enjoy some music with a kick ass band and have some fun!!!
