My mom’s never been an animal lover, she may pat them as they sit by her feet, but she’d never pick one up voluntarily. I told her “just hold him like a baby”. .. this is the result. Looks pretty natural to me! ….

Yum Yum Strawberry Basil Smash

In a cocktail shaker muddle the following
✨3 fresh Basil leaves
✨2 oz Strawberry puree ✨lemon juice
Fill shaker with ice
✨Add 2oz whiskey or bourbon (I prefer Bird Dog Strawberry Whiskey)
Give a few good shakes and pour in glass
✨Top with club soda
Garnish with fresh a Strawberry.

Recipe variations..
✨omit liquor and it’s a refreshing mocktail
✨use 2-3 fresh strawberries instead of puree
✨use ginger beer
✨sub a botanical vodka instead of whiskey.

Lightly muddle fresh mint and 1 lime wedge in glass
Fill glass with ice
Pour the following over ice
✨2 oz Prosecco
✨1 1/2 oz Bitter Truth Elderflower Liqueur
✨2 oz Sparkling Water
Garnish with fresh lime wedge and a smile.
