Well I knocked some dust off at the Moontower Salon BBQ Cookoff. I had a bit of a mishap and mixed up my pork and beef injection powder.
Still had a strong showing:

12th chicken 😞 🐔
2nd ribs 🤣 🐖
8th brisket ?
Everything had some #

Dry aged prime ribeye, soaked in coffee overnight. Salted an hour before I put it in the sous vide with butter for one and a half hours. Grilled then rested in that same butter with a bit of W sauce.

We has a lot of fun yesterday at Seaton Star Hall. We did pretty well for ourselves ad got to see a lot of bbq family.
We placed
9th in chicken 🐔
10th in ribs 🐖
12th in pork 🐖
7th in brisket 🐄
Putting us 6th overall. 🥳

Huge congrats to P.S. I love BBQ and head cook Aimee Schindler for her 1st place chicken. Paul Schindler might have helped with that a little. Congratulations to Love's The Answer Competition and Catering for thier bloody Mary call!

Congrats to Eric Arnold for GC!

Everything had that in it.
Used a lot of that Texas Pepper Jelly and
Texas Oil Dust LLC too.
