Prairie Girl
Anyone remember the old days of gathering in tents or homes for Prayer meeting?
I guess I am sharing my age now when I say , I sure do! Lol
When I was a young pr***en girl, my grandpa would come stay during the week on our family farm to help (he always brought a gallon of ice cream and bananas) and then he would go home on weekends.
He would always say to me, Well, Are you ready to go??
My bags were packed for the weekend with grandpa.
Saturday nights and Sundays he would take me to Tent meetings where I soon learned of Jesus and that the Power of Prayer was real.
I knew the Holy Spirit was was within..
Thru out my life I strayed away from those times BUT Jesus never left my side.
He always waited for me to return to Him.
I'm so thankful I did.
I guess in my older age I became wiser..wink wink.
Today many have gotten away from knowing the POWER of PRAYER in the name of Jesus.
The turmoil that the world today has, I feel it a good time to bring back those days of Prayer..
Leaning in to the Father.
Getting under the Shelter of the most high God.
The best part is that you don't need a tent or certain spot to talk to God, because He is everywhere BUT this holiday season we have put up our tent on our Mountain to glorify God and the Mountain He has blessed us with and to use it for Prayer.
So know as I sit in our old tent by the warm fire, ill be saying a prayer for our Country, Families, Health and all you folks in our area..
This holiday season, look to the real reason of Christmas.
That baby that was born of Mary and Joseph.
Find that power in prayer...
Our world is in dire need..
Gather yourselves together to pray as families and friends. Dont hide your light.
Where 2 or more are gathered, He is with us..
So many are sick and hurting right now. The answer is Jesus and prayer..
