OUT FOR DELIVERY! So, Pashka’s daughter came across Dessert First at Rivage Day Spa. She grabbed a business card, and went home to share her findings with her mom. Just days later I’m getting a call asking if she can place an order! We pulled together a pan of Date Bars, a pan of Strawberry Cheesecake Swirl Bars (remember those from The Office?), and our famous DJ’s Carrot Cake w/Cream Cheese Frosting (always sold out of that back in our farmers market days!). Pashka, THANK YOU! And we hope you and your guests enjoy a wonderful holiday meal together 😋

Did you know we bake for Rivage Day Spa in Birmingham? Including the birthday cupcakes you get if you come in to celebrate your birthday within a week on either side of your special day? We’re gearing up for spring with some fun new treats….the Peanut Butter & Chocolate Birds Nests, Deviled Brownies, a brand new Chocolate Almond Bread, and of course the ever popular Delightful Date Bars you all have me working overtime for! 😋 Schedule your massage, facial, or nail appointment soon, and enjoy some of these sweet treats on the house!

In December of 2021, TOCS hosted their first ever “Market After Dark” - a collection of small businesses wanting to get some exposure to the local community. We had a BLAST! And apparently the customers and the coffee shop liked what they saw (and tasted!) that night. My good friend, Rodel, reached out just after the new year and said the coffee shop wanted to talk to me about possibly selling Dessert First goods at the shop. WHAT??!! And on 4/2/2022, our partnership was born! For four wonderful years, I had the privilege of creating recipes to pair with monthly brew specials, helping one off customers with special orders, and fostering an incredible relationship with the management team at TOCS. While I am very sad, like many of you, to see the coffee shop close 😢, I am more grateful that I even had the opportunity to share their space. We became well known for our cheesecake bars, our marshmallow bars, and of course, the snickerdoodle cookies! So much gratitude going out to Mike and Brooke, and Kortnee and Rodel and the whole team for supporting us, connecting with us, and loving us. ❤️ BRAVO to you all and congratulations on an incredible run!
