It’s been a while! We’ve been super busy around the homestead and wanted to gather information on a future idea. If we were to ever start raising pigs for meat, how many of you would be possibly interested in purchasing a half or whole pig when it is ready to take to butcher? This is just information gathering at this point to see if the investment would be worth it!

And just like that, our homestead has its first farm animal! We incubated five duck eggs and this is likely the only one to make it of the five. Kimber has decided that if it is a girl, she will name it Sparkle and if it is a boy, she will name it Donald!
