Been a busy few weeks. We had a great time as usual at the Whitetails of Wisconsin banquet and at the North American Deer Farmers banquet in Ohio. Lots of great food, friends and seminars this year. Then we headed to Arizona to see Mary's dad and his family. Now back to work getting ready for fawns in less than 6 weeks! Boys are starting to grow. The pics are both 2yr olds, Todd and Aragorn our big yearling from last year.

I'll never get tired of looking at this yearling. Big Sexy/Gladiator XL son/Handsome. If anyone has a shot at replacing his daddy, it's him.

Mary E Volk is setup at the KALA Summer Showcase today. We will be at the Ohio Deer sale in Mt Hope, Ohio on Thursday and Friday. Make sure to bring any clothing you want your name or logo embroidered on to the sale. Also, don't forget to order your deer masks, moving and breeding season is quickly approaching so get your mask orders in now.

Well ****. We got our ruling today. Basically, from my understanding, the courts decision is deer have not been farmed long enough to consider deer farming a fundamental right. We have a meeting with our lawyers Wednesday evening to better understand what went on and what our next step would be if we choose to pursue. (Supreme court)

Where does that leave us? Absolutely no idea.

We didn't like the way 1 of Big sexy's tines was looking so we knocked him down to get a closer look. Right now, July 17th, he scores 251" with nearly a month left to grow.
