Mrs. Winning Streak CM Rose Petals (2F) is such a cool girl! She’s one of my favorites to hand milk. The texture of this udder is amazing—buttery soft and pliable. She also has probably the largest orifices on the farm. She gives SO much milk and milks out so well. I may be hoarding every daughter out of her just for her udder alone 🤪 she’s one I definitely want to get on milk test in the future.

We had a great weekend at the Smoky Mountain dairy goat show and always love seeing all of our goat people! We had some really nice placings behind some absolutely phenomenal animals. Highlights were Ilene’srascals Walk The Line *B, Hidden Hills Juniper, and Cedar View Apollo*B all winning their classes with Apollo going grand, and JP going reserve behind him. Apollo went on to win best buck in show! Thanks to our friends who helped show animals and get us through all the craziness 🤪

Hidden Palms JD Ursula 2*M VVVE 90 had b/d twins early this morning. Unfortunately, the buckling was doa. The doeling, sired by Hidden Hills Juniper, is doing fantastic, thanks to my best friend at Highlander Homestead & Dairy. Finding good help when you can’t be around is almost impossible but having a best friend that also knows dairy goats is next level! I’m so thankful she was able to get this baby pulled and fed colostrum to insure the best start for her. Side note-the blue is first defense tri-shield, something new we will be implementing with all of our newborns. 🩵
