Bentley University was a key volunteer group for us, coming out the last couple of years to help us open and close the garden.
We received this message from one of their organizers and wanted to share. We are hopeful many of our groups will transition to supporting our partners, Agro-Eco Project, in the future.
From Emma:
Firstly, I just wanted to extend gratitude for our partnership last year during Bentley's trips to Overlook Farm. Those trips are ones that created memories for our students that they'll never forget. It has inspired them to continue their passion not just regarding food insecurity, but also social justice overall, and our time with your organization was instrumental in that effect. And I can surely speak for myself, in that my time at Overlook have been some of my favorite college memories.
We would be happy to connect with Argo-Eco Project in Rutland if the offer still stands for a connection and would likely explore that possibility in the spring as we have already planned our events for the fall semester at this point.
Again, thank you for all your work with Overlook and your community. It is because of amazing individuals such as yourself and your team that our students continue to be so passionate about social justice. I wish you all the best, and reach out if there is any way your Bentley crew can support you at all in the future
