Great entry level job for anyone who loves to bake. Our specialty is custard tarts and we're looking for the right person to join our team. Duties include mixing, scaling, baking the tarts, dough work, packing, dishwashing, etc. The right candidate will show initiative, ability to work in two-man teams, manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 50 lbs a few times per day, and work an 8 hour shift on their feet. Greetings Friends,
Bennett's Bakery is reaching out to faithful followers and especially fans of our delicious fruit pies. As of December 31, 2016 we will no longer be in the pie business!
Due to great success and growth in our other product lines -- single serve desserts and custard tarts -- we have recognized the need to focus our time and resources on custards and eliminate our pie offerings.
This was a sad/difficult decision to come to, but exciting for what the future might bring.
Thank you for your support over the years and go out and buy one more Bennett's Pie this Christmas for posterity's sake!
