We are selling our food cart and the trailer that we use to transport it. We are looking to upgrade to something else.

We’re running.

The grill is hot, the line is forming, and Rad Chad is already sweating like he’s fighting for his life.
He showed up this morning with a towel over his shoulder and said,
“Today’s got that energy. I can feel it.”

Then he immediately tripped over the cooler, stood back up, and said,
“Don’t put that in the recap.”
Too late.

Sacramento come hungry today.
The wind is already trying to steal napkins.

Someone asked if we take reservations (we do not).
Someone else said they’ve been waiting all week (same).
If you’re pulling up, come early, come hungry, come ready.
We’re here until 7 PM or until the universe decides otherwise.

Rad Chad showed up today acting like he’s the official spokesperson for Saturday.

He said he’s been “monitoring the public energy,” which I think means he read two Instagram comments and took it personally.

He told me,

“People are excited. I can feel it. My left eyebrow’s been twitching all morning.”

Then he said he’s entering his “mental preparation phase,” which apparently involves pacing in circles and muttering things like,

“Stay focused. Stay hydrated. Stay dangerous.”

Meanwhile, I’m just trying to get everything ready without absorbing whatever chaotic electricity he’s radiating.

Chad says the vibe is “charged.”

I’m just hoping the weather behaves.

Rad Chad pulled me aside today and said,
“Look… people think running a food cart is simple. They don’t understand the emotional cardio involved.”
And honestly? He’s right.

Every week we gear up for one day — one window — where everything has to click.
The grill.
The timing.
The weather.
The universe.
Chad’s attitude.
My sanity.

Chad said the energy this week “feels like a good one,” which is his version of a Michelin star.
He’s been walking around the kitchen doing slow, dramatic nods like he’s sensing the vibe of Saturday through the ingredients.

I don’t know what he thinks he’s detecting, but he said,
“Yeah… yeah. Saturday’s gonna hit.”
So that’s the official forecast.

We’re outside this weekend.
The vibe is good.
Chad approved it with whatever sixth sense he thinks he has.

And I’m already getting that pre‑service adrenaline that means it’s almost go time.

The grill is loud, the burgers are already acting dramatic, and Chad is sweating in a way that feels like
he’s fighting for his life.

The cheese is melting like it’s in a music video.
The jalapeños are starting problems with everyone.
The mac & cheese is being way too confident for a Saturday morning.
And Chad keeps whispering, “Why is everything so emotional?”

So here we are.

Against his better judgment.

THIS SATURDAY @ CINDER’S BAR — ONE‑DAY DROP  

Chad will be supervising the following emotional disasters:
• The New Bacon‑ings Burger — crispy bacon, sharp cheddar, BBQ sauce, and the confidence of someone who’s never been told “no.”
• Herb Your Enthusiasm — pineapple, jalapeño, chimichurri… basically a tropical vacation with anger issues.
• Return of the Mac‑Birria — mac & cheese + birria = comfort food that will absolutely text you at 2 AM.
• Mac in the Middle — five cheeses and roasted garlic acting like it’s the headliner.

We won’t be popping up this weekend — we’re booked for a private catering event.

The cart may be quiet, but the work doesn’t stop.

Every booking, every gig, every event helps us grow, helps us reach new people, and helps us get one step closer to the trailer.
