To contact us, email or facebook messaging is greatly preferred. For overnight stays: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/54599 Located in the beautiful foothills in between Auburn and Lincoln, we are a family owned and operated farm where we are trying to demonstrate that quality food production and focus on animal welfare and sustainability are entirely consistent. We operate a dairy with farmstead cre
amery producing ice cream, yogurt, cheese and butter from our heritage breed cows. We also have 1500 free-range laying chickens and other animals including emus, donkeys, pigs, goats, and a horse. For people who want a first-hand experience, we have a farmstay that can be booked through airbnb. Please contact us for information about day visits or if you'd like to stop by to purchase products. Email is the best way to guarantee quick response as we are rarely around the phone! PLEASE NOTE THAT TOUR AVAILABILITY DURING SUMMER MONTHS ARE EXTREMELY LIMITED AND START VERY EARLY BECAUSE OF THE LONG DAYS AND HIGH TEMPERATURES. We offer tours of the farm year-round. On Sundays we are usually open for family tours. Tours start between 7 and 815am depending on time of year. We also occasionally are open for early morning tours (starting just after sunrise) on Mondays and Fridays. Please email us in advance to confirm, don't just show up at the farm! Plan to arrive during cow milking (we will confirm times with you). After milking you can watch the reunion of calves with their moms. We then give a walking tour of the farm to visit all of our cows and other animals: donkeys, horse, alpaca, emus, chickens and goats. Usually there are some new farm babies to meet as well. Tours last about 45min - 1.5hrs depending on interests and stamina. Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes/boots that you don’t mind getting dirty. Our property is quite hilly and the animals are dispersed, so to see everything will require some walking. Giving these tours is fun for us but is also time intensive for the ‘farm hands’. Fees go towards providing feed for our well loved animals. You will also have an opportunity to purchase farm goods (eggs, ice cream, greek yogurt, butter, cheese) if you are interested. PRICING: $5/adults/teens; $2/children 2-12yrs. For large groups or other special requests, please contact us.
